Job Summary

The Division of General Surgery is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to work with our Colorectal, GI and Trauma surgeons in our multi-disciplinary clinic. The successful candidate will be expected to perform procedures and care for patients both independently and assist faculty in the clinic setting. Strong clinical and communications skills are needed.
The selected candidate will have a strong foundation in evidenced-based practice and education and ensure safe quality care, while demonstrating an advanced level of medical knowledge, clinical and technical competency, sound clinical judgment, & timely and compliant documentation. This position will also demonstrate professional practice behaviors including: preceptor/mentoring, education and instruction of students, nursing staff, nurses, clinic staff, graduate and novice APPs.
