Job Summary
Work under the direction of the Ophthalmology Service Chief as a member of a team consisting of the other veterinarians with defined service responsibilities. Provide clinical instruction to senior professional DVM students.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

    • Smoking, the use of smokeless tobacco products, and the use of unregulated nicotine products (e-cigarettes) will be strictly prohibited on any UC Davis owned or leased property, indoors and outdoors, including parking lots and residential space.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

    • DVM or equivalent degree.
    • Board certification by the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists
    • Interpersonal communication skills to work with others in a collegial team atmosphere.
    • Skills to effectively communicate orally and in writing.

Preferred:

    • Five years of post residency clinical experience in veterinary ophthalmology
    • Computer skills to access and utilize VMACS and Voles.
    • Experience in teaching, particularly clinical instruction.
